DAY 1
Today I woke up in medieval city. However this time it seems
I am in Poland, Cracow of 16th century.
I even found clues on my first day, it seems it has something to do with the Dragon of Wawel Hill that made its lair in cave near the city.
I found out that the dragon was terrorizing this area for many years now and even though many tried, no one managed to slay or banish the dragon. Local people call him Akubi.
DAY 2
I traded my winter coat for couple of nights inside an inn. Right now its summer and the heat is unbearable so I didn’t need it.
The rest of my possessions I traded for crossbow, couple of bolts and location of some “witch”. I need to visit her and gather more information.
DAY 3
Today I found the exact location of Akubi nest.
I did it by convincing one of the villagers that survived one of its attacks to lead me to it.
By asking people I even managed figure out the schedule of Akubi's attacks on nearby villages and I have pretty good prediction on where he will strike next.
By that time I will be ready, but to do that I need to have a talk with the witch.
My encounter with the witch was interesting to say the least. Firstly, she told me that weakness of dragons in general is lightning and recommended couple of poisons that can weaken him.
However, she got oddly quiet when I asked about Wishgranter. Suddenly she kick me out and tell to not meddle with beings as powerful as him.
My visit was interesting but ultimately useless as I cannot make poison powerful enough to kill Akubi and have no available source of electricity/lightning. It seems I will have to kill it in traditional way.
DAY 4
I have a small problem...there is no sulphur to gather here.
The rest what left is really expensive.
What's more I cannot gather enough ingredients to make a proper poison which could kill the dragon.
Fortunately, I heard about a mine of gold called “Złoty Stok” that supposedly was abandoned by Dwarfs.
Maybe there I would find something that will help me.
DAY 5
DAY 8
I found the mine. Like I thought it was closed and abandoned.
Fortunately I still managed to get in without much problems.
Walking down those tunnels was creepy and dangerous as
they weren't maintained for a long time. There were many environmental hazards along the way, additionally I found some weird tracks that were made fairly recently.
I need to watch out.
•GIANT SPIDERS!!! What the hell!? The weird tracks? Yeah, that was them, and when I say giant spiders I mean GIANT! Like at least 1,5 meters in height.
•
Fortunately, I had my trusty crossbow and knife with me. Hey! The poison which I made finally found some use. I’m sure that the additional lethality of my weapons helped a lot.
•Still, I cannot quit now I’m almost at the end of the mine, I can feel that whatever is there will be worth it. Right?
DAY 9
DAY 10
So, I made it to the end. Honestly, I didn’t know what I expected to find here.
I mean the mine was completely empty. I've heard that Dwarfs are really greedy but to take exactly everything with themselves seams to be a complitely nonsence.
There was no way they left something useful for me.
That’s right! There is NOTHING useful here, besides the mountain of weird odourless, white powder.
Maybe I can do something with it, nearby I found sign that said it was poisonous, so there is still hope. Nonetheless I need know what it is and I have no idea of who I can ask.
